Chain

The primary function of the chain is to keep the anchoring element consistently aligned with the seabed and to help stabilize the mooring system through its weight. In addition to connecting the anchoring element, chains are also used between the buoy and the collector, as well as between the cage and the mooring system. The chain acts as the safety component of the anchoring system. To reduce investment costs, the chain can be sourced from ship recycling facilities, provided that its strength is not below 80% of the required capacity.
